Finally finished this little homage to the book that hooked me. I took some liberties with the costumes and chronology of it all. This is the version that lives in my head---

This is awesome! Was never really into X-Men, but seriously; your art might convince me otherwise! Nice job!

Might sound like a stupid question, but where are Wolverine, Storm, Prof X, and the blue guy (not Beast, the German one)? Just curious...

Thanks, that's really nice of you to say. X-Factor (in the 80s) was a book about the first team of X-Men after they'd grown up and left the school. No Wolverine, etc. That's what this piece is. Man that sounds that is a weird paragraph all typed out.

Wow. Well, to be honest, I kind of like this team of X-Men more than the current one, whose most popular members seem to consist of Wolverine, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, and Wolverine. I'm so sick of seeing Wolverine. Marvel, in my opinion, should kinda take a break from him for a bit.

What we really need is more Beast and Iceman. And Michael Fassbinder as a Nazi-killing Magneto, which never hurts.
